Thanks to Jeff and Kristy for bringing this back from Der Fatherland.
This one, poured from a .5L bottle, was a dirty amber with a heavy field of bubbles. The head is a collar of off white.
Smells of sweet cereal grains, bubble gum, granny smith, dark caramel with a slight boozy burn and a distant astringent burn.
The taste starts with a touch of of smokey rauch and big grainy caramel. There is also a ton of sour wheat and otherwise the grainy notes found in bocks.
Feels clean and quick with but a little coating and an airy traipse of carb.
Nice. Quite clean and airy for the style.
