Can from the brewery - pours a pale straw color with a 1 finger white cap that disappears quickly to a surface lace...aroma is yeast-funky, earthy-woody nobel hopping with boiled grain notes....flavor is odd for a kolsch...musty-woody with malt sweetness in tow behind Tettnanger grassyness-earthyness...finish goes more bitter....this is definitely more like a German farm ale than a Kolsh but it is decent enough for sipping
