Pours a dark orange tinted brown. Sweet and verging on syrupy in the Piraat tulip. I can see I was too generous with even a quarter of a glass, but soldier on. It actually doesn't smell like much but definitely some ginger in the nose. Overall I'd call this a Mexican candy beer. Flavors of maple, brown sugar, and lots of pumpkin. Fortunately not much spice.
I think this actually tastes more like pumpkin than most beers in the pumpkin category. Or else it taste more alcoholic than most beers in the Strong Ale category. Quite boozy and alcohol tasting, but actually quite sippable. This seems to be the 2022 edition of the annual extravaganza, but no date on the 16 oz can.
