Opaque dark orange with a large puffy white foam settling to a thick creamy persistent blanket curling in tall half pipe ridges around the rim leaving droopy curtains of lace.
Taste includes orange, grapefruit and mango, rinds and flesh, with a light woody pine background. There's a touch of bubblegum and contrasting peppery spice in the middle of all that.
This has a bit more of an assertive punch of booze and bitterness than the other Peckers I've had so far, but overall it's still clear they've learned well from the kings of NEIPA by producing such a soft, fluffy full-bodied ale that comes to a nicely clean, just semi-dry finish.
I'm not sure how anyone could expect such a deft hand at this style from such a brand new brewery.

The second(?) time they canned this (May 2020) I found it to be even better. It was a little more spicy, dank, and Orange Julius-y, but also had no booze to the mouthfeel, while still being fluffy and full. It's more dank and delicious now, while 4also featuring that Tree House mango-cantaloupe-melon bubblegum character you don't often get elsewhere.
