1 PINT can
Served in an imperial nonic glass
This beer pours pale yellow and turbid. It is topped with a couple inches of off white head that leaves some damn fine lacing if you're into that sort of thing.
The smell is tropical fruit, melon, and hints of pine.
The taste follows the smell. Tropical fruit up front. There is a little bit of melon in the middle. The finish is bitter with pine and grapefruit pith.
Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel
This is only my second IPA from Crooked Pecker. This one is a better example of the NE style of IPA. It is nice to get a bitter finish in one of these style of IPAs rather than the standard fruit juice that seems to dominate the style. Well done.
