Do you remember Kodiak? Well, imagine that with the added delight of maple syrup. It has the traditional characteristics of a classic brown ale with added ABV and added maple. It's mapley, chocolatey and caramelly.

Pours a dark reddish brown with thick, tan head.
Smell is malty and sweet with notes of maple syrup, brown bread, coffee and wood.
Taste is malty and slightly smokey. Notes of maple syrup, wood, coffee grounds and salt licorice. Moderate bitternss with a slight tart hint as well.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, an interesting imperial brown where the maple syrup takes center stage.
