This is a fantastic Pilsner. It may have been brewed in the Northern German Pilsner style, but it turned out to be better than that.
Poured from a can and immediately was impressed by a nice rich golden color and a very decent foam. Aromas of grassy fields and summer breeze.
The taste is where this lager truly shines. Unlike a typical German Pils, it has a more pronounced noble hop bite. It's extremely elegant and refined. The body feels to be on a medium side, which is so much better than a typical light feel of a German Pils. I'd say this lager is a lot closer to Czech pale lagers than it is to what it's billed as.
Worthy!

Canned 3/11/21. Pours a light golden hue with a streak of blond and fluffy head. Herbal with the essence of fresh mown hay in the nose. Fits the description on the can. Crisp, mild hop bitterness upfront that cascades into a fresh baked bread. At least that's how it feels to me. Finishes slightly bitter. A fine drinking pilsner for a unusual spring day.
