On tap at Black Flannel Brewing in Essex, VT.
This one pours a pale golden yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like crackery malt, slight nuttiness, toasted bread, lemony hops, and some light spicing.
This feels quite spot on – it’s very dry, with a lemony and spicy hop character, and a really pleasant and not too sweet malt character – crackers, biscuits, toast, and a touch of nuttiness.
This is very light bodied, clean, crisp, and quite drinkable.
This could be an all day drinker if it was available near me.

A very respectable Czech-style brew made a respectable Vermont brewery.
(Vermont breweries do not generally excel at making good beer. They do excel at making overhopped hipster IPAs, but that's a different story for a different day.)
The pour is golden copperish with lovely bubbles and a decent head. Smells happy and floral. Tastes more floral that grassy, with a subtle touch of grain.
I love Czech beer and I love Czech pilsners (well, there is only one original true one but anyway). This is a worthy beer.
5 stars for the effort and for the result.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
