This is a rare seasonal offering by Black Flannel and boy am I glad I got to try it.
It checks almost all boxes. The look (rich gold), the aroma (bready and grassy), the taste (not the first sip, but more like 5th one started growing on me...)
Lukr pour at the brewery made it taste much milder. Tasting a pour from a can at home yielded a much crisper first sip. It starts out bready. Really nice. And then Saaz hops gently introduce themselves, but in a slightly different way than what I'm used to. There is a bit of a nutty bite towards the end. I decided I like it this way.
A solid A-. The minus is for missing that signature assertive Saaz bite. Purely subjective, but hey, this is an opinion of a Czech pale lager lover.

Pours a clear golden with a medium head.
