A Belgian Strong dark brewed with…, you guessed it, date nectar! This beer clocks in at 10.6% abv. The booziness is well hidden by the caramel malts, date nectar and gentle hopping. The aroma is complex with a Belgian Abbey yeast strain adding hints of dates, figs, and ripe bananas. Caramel malts contribute toffee and caramel aromas. It has a relatively light body and tastes of dates, raisins, toffee and toasted bread.
