their flagship ipa and one of my favorites of all the beers we had in here, i think they have something with this one, and even though i have never seen the packaging before i got here, its almost instantly iconic to me, the crab and the blue, its what i think of when i think of this part of the world, and its cool how they captured it on the can, but i had this fresh on tap at the brewery. a bit of an old school thing, more timeless now i guess, northwestern ipa in all its glory, lightly copper colored, frothy white headed, and clear. no frills beer packed with hops in the nose on top of a slightly toasted and nutty malt base, never sweet but immediately balanced to me. i get piney woodsy bitter hops, some citrusy character too, orange and lemon along with the obvious christmas tree notes, a flash of honey, very fresh. maybe cascade or centennial in here, high alpha c type for sure, and some mosaic too. the flavor is the same, a little juniper note up front and an herbal wash before pithy citrus carry it on, fresh baked malt underneath, simple and clean, drinkable but not light really, lively feeling, neutral in terms of yeast, and to me really nicely proportioned with enough malt all the way through it but a big rush of bitterness on the swallow, ipa as it should be. an impressive specimen here, definitely one of their best beers. i will look forward to my next pint of it!

16 oz can consumed at a very wet Beverly Beach State Park. On the Oregon Coast.
$11.99 a 6 pack from local IGA in Lincoln City.
Canned on 02/22/32..so almost two months old.
Poured into plastic glass. Darker copper colored body, lovely creamy and thick eggshell white head. Nice looking even in a plastic glass.
Nice hoppy aromas, more traditional than most nowadays. Citrus, pine and dankness. Nice.
Taste the same ..bitter yet still drinkable and quite balanced. Old style.
Mouth feel stands out on this one also, quite soft, yet still carbonated enough to move the beer smoothly over the palate. For being so traditional, it is surprising there is no stickiness in the end.
A very nice example of what i like to think of as a PNW IPA.

Canned 6/9. Purchased at a Freddy's up in Warrenton. Pours a light amber. Slightly hazy. A finger or two of a tight foam head. Nice nose of floral and fruit, no doubt from a solid PNW hop bill. Very smooth taste and feel, no harshness at at. More malt base here than many other IPAs you find around. We have here a very nicely made IPA. Good as any, better'n some as my dad used to say.

Picked it up in a can in Canon Beach OR. Had never seen it before. Refreshing and well worth the money. I've had a lot of IPA and this is a top 10.

Look: Crystal clear burnt orange with a frothy eggshell colored head that pillows up nicely and leaves good lacing as it settles
Aroma: Tropical fruit, pine, blueberries, sweet orange, rose petals, grapefruit rind, some Cannabis, and sweet bready malt underneath it all
Taste: Grapefruit, tropical fruit, pine, and blueberries come on strong, followed by pithy citrus rind and sweet rose along with some dank notes fading in and out. The nice, tasty bready malt keeps things together well and finishes with a nice hoppy bite
Mouthfeel: Full, a little slick, medium-high carbonation, and mild dryness on the finish
Overall: This is very tasty and good. This is my first beer from these folks and they are making a very good impression with this offering. A modern take on a WCIPA with a great hop blend that hits all the flavor/aroma notes for me. I’m glad they are in the mix as the Oregon Coast needs more craft/microbrew representation in what is already a great state for quality beer. Delicious and recommended
