Small brewpub in what once might have been a bungalow. Entrance from the back deck to short bar on the left that seats about 10, with a handful of tables about the room and on the deck. 6 house, 6 guest taps. Friendly bartender. Scotch eggs were very nice.

i love these little small town breweries scattered around idaho, and have had a lot of fun exploring them during my time in the state so far. this is a tiny little spot, a cozy little bar with a fun looking patio out back, and the brewery just in a separate building adjacent to the taproom there. i guess the bar has been here a few years, and the beer making has been on again off again, but they are cooking now, and its worth popping in for a couple when you are in the area. they have a modest selection, maybe eight or so of their own beers, and a couple of guest handles as well. none of the beer seemed particularly adventurous by modern standards, but i didnt really dislike any of it either, all well enough made for the most part. i had a couple of hoppy beers that were reasonable, one called maple leaf amber ale that was the best of the bunch, and a few in the middle, things like blondes and reds and pales on the menu, nothing crazy. the food was real good here though, better than the beer i reckon, and the service was friendly and chatty and welcoming as well. they have a good thing going on in here, a relaxed space, a cool patio (where i will hang next time), and very accessible beers.
