VERY different from any other brewery I have been to. You tap your own beer! They have a sophisticated self serve system that is actually quite cool! However, as a newbie I would have liked some better explanation walking in.

I was and I'm still a little skeptical on this spots entire approach. They let you poor the beer yourself. Any style, any quantity. You get a card when you enter and put that card in a slot under the beer you want. Anytime you pull that handle, you're running up your bill. Once I was in there, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. You can get tasters of everything or pour full pints or mix beers together. You're the boss. My biggest issue is for people that don't know beer. You completely lose that bartender/patron experience. I love talking shop about beer and in this place, you're just holding up the line if you are not sure what to get. I don't like that at all.
