For this special beer we teamed up with the good folks at Ghost Brewing Company in Bay Shore, NY. We wanted to do something a little out there and we came up with a Black Cold IPA. This isn’t you’re ordinary Cold IPA, for a large portion of the adjunct percentage we added Forbidden rice to help us get that dark color we were looking for. On top of the Forbidden rice we added some midnight wheat and toasted rice flakes. Fermented with our house lager strain and hopped with cashmere in the kettle and a generous dry hopping of cascade and Azacca. This beer drinks clean, crisp, earthy, dank, with a hint of roast. Extremely approachable and crushable.
