I visited Black Cock while visiting friends in Anaheim a little while back. Build out is welcoming but industrial and a bit unpolished; it's in the space formerly occupied by Old Orange Brewing along Batavia.
When I was there, they had 8 taps plus a michelada. I tried two of them, including their flagship El Chingón, an 8.2% ABV Mexican lager and Chocolate Persuasion, 7.2% chocolate pale ale. Most beers in the 7-9% range; at $8 or $10 a pint they are a bit pricey. I was not super impressed with the quality of the beers, however. The guy behind the bar was friendly enough and was super efficient. It really reminds me a lot of the former occupant, Old Orange. I would not call it a must-visit in the OC, though.
