16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 12/6/23, so 9 days old.
Attractive dark brown body. Head fizzes away quite quickly, no lacing. Strong malty aroma. Taste is delightful, good malt base, figs give it a nice dark fruit note, and give it the sense and feel of an English brown. Slightly sweet, mild roast. Finish dries a little, leaving rich warming malty goodness on the tongue. Another fine beer from the folks at Lingden.
