We live outdoors. Luckily for us, the Appalachian Trail runs right throughout hometown of Duncannon. This adventure beer is a nod to the Thru-Hikers we see trekking through every year.
Brewed with Pilsner malt, oats, and generously hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo for notes of orange, citrus, and grapefruit.
Enjoy at the summit or your other mountainbeering adventures.

Lindgren Craft Brewery "Livin' Along The A.T."
16 fl. oz. can coded "SNEP33 11112025". Sampled on 03032026.
Notes via stream of consciousness: The recipe is right on the label: Pilsner malt & oats with Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops. The body is a hazy golden and the head is a short cap of white foam. In the nose I'm finding pine, citrus, and some earthiness. I was expecting a brighter citrus punch given the use of Citra hops but it's still alright. The flavor delivers more citrus but the pine is still present. I'm getting grapefruit, pine, berries, orange, and a bit of grassiness. The malt delivers the oats as promised. It's not that sweet, nor particularly bitter, just thoroughly fermented which leaves it pretty much the same from start to finish. In the mouth it's medium bodied on the lower end and gently crisp-then-smooth. I'd love to see more hops in this but you can't really fault them for that. All in all it's a solid IPA.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 4/9/24, so 5 weeks old.
Nice look to this one. Hazy slightly dull orange juice body. Good white head shrinks to a solid covering, thick rings of lacing. Aroma is mixed over ripe fruit slightly flavoring citrus. On tasting, it's the reverse, non citrus dominates. Smooth thanks to the oats, hoppy without being bitter. Clean refreshing drink.
