A bold and smooth malt profile with rich flavors of chocolate and biscuit. Hopped with GEMS farm Newport hops and finished off with Fuggles and EKG.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 6/11/24, so 3 weeks old.
Looks great in the glass, darkest brown, almost black body. Small tan head persists throughout, leaving rings of lacing early on. Aroma is of lightly roasted malt with a hint of coffee. On tasting, roasted malt, but very smooth. The mouth is full, finish roasty but never bitter.
Overall, very nice interpretation of the style. A touch of dark fruit would have bumped this score up. But still, a very enjoyable drink.
