An imperial version of Whip Crack, this is brewed with the same 2 row and malted oat base, back by loads of chit malt, flaked oats, raw wheat and a touch of Golden Promise barley. Hopped in the kettle with Motueka and Citra Incognito. Double dry hopped with Motueka, Citra and Simcoe Cryo. Sweet mango, juicy pineapple and pine dominate the aroma. A soft and medium full body carry a hop saturated flavor. The finish is full and sweet, with just enough hop bitterness to not let the sweet build.

Can from brewery into pint glass. Pours a murky gold (SRM 7-ish) with a fine, persistent eggshell-white head. Initial impression is a gentle immersion in citrus (grapefruit, mango, orange, lemon) with a hint of pine. Mouthfeel is soft and pillow-y, with a nice amount of carbonation. Ever so slightly sticky. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Finish is soft and semi-bitter, with a lingering citric sweetness. Very enjoyable DIPA!
