A special one-off barleywine created just for Small Brewery Sunday 2020. After resting in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels for 15 months, this dark barleywine was further conditioned on salted caramel, hazelnuts and vanilla bean.

Crowler into pint glass. Pours a very dark brown (SRM 37 or so) with essentially no head. Initial impression is a very thick, smooth barleywine featuring dark fruits, salted nuts, and a nice bourbon touch. Mouthfeel is smooth, fairly thick, bordering on sticky. Finish is heavy on the dark fruits. Overall, a good example of the style with the added dimension of being BBA.
