Half Litre bottle poured into Pint Shaker.

A: Fairly dark shade of amber, hazy, medium sized head, good retention.

S: Yeasty phenols.

T: A combination of grain and slightly sour cooking apples which lingered for a while.

M: Texture was on the thick side of medium, not much carbonation.

O: This went along the lines of a Weizen, but without the heavy clove and banana.

Entered Germany yesterday, and bought some half liter bottles at a local shop.
Brewed with both barley and dinkel (spelt) wheat.
Beautifull look of murky brown, but still visible carbonation. Thin head.
Taste is bittersweet. Light banana, malty. Crisp and refreshing.
Quite a nice beer. It's very simple and easy.

Poured half liter bottle into German lager glass. Swirled the sediment ( Naturtrub is German for unfiltered) final pour into glass. Beer is murky, cloudy gold with creamy beige head, with sediment floaters. Head leaves thick skin on glass. Mouthfeel is creamy/oily. This type of keller style takes the lager halfway to a hefeweizen in body. Flavor is smooth and mellow, no bitterness. Very drinkable...
