16 fl oz can ran $3.15 USD plus tax at a beer store in New Orleans, LA.
"Strawberry Lemonade Sour.' 5.6% ABV.
Artificial strawberry/strawberry puree. A hint of butyric acid. Sourness. Twang. Acidity. I don't taste any lemonade or lemon-like flavours beyond the acidity. Sourness is mild - maybe a 3/10 in terms of intensity. Sharply overcarbonated, holding it back from feeling refreshing. Not soft enough on the palate.
I don't care for it much, and it doesn't fulfill the promise of its premise, but it's not awful. I expected more of a light refreshing Summer sipper sort of sour, and this has a lot of weight on the palate for how little flavour it brings. The obvious overcarbonation is a real setback too.
