Beautiful golden haze. Aroma is moderate clove, missing any banana esters. Light body, solid wheat taste, some cloves but lacking classic Hefe character. Medium high carb level, prickly mouth feel. Overall very satisfying but would like to see a more classic Hefe taste

This beer is a decent good example of hefe weissen
Smell of malts, with a little of banana and cloves, but not a lot. Taste similar: it's beer as with malt and yeast, but the good kind.
Simple and good beer.. nothing too special though.

Average hefeweisse from a regional brauerei. Not bad, but hits all the right notes fro the style. Golden color, good foam on pour, and a good amount of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. All the right flavors are present, nothing overpowers or distracts. The local supermarket has had a special on Bavarian beers, so my guess is that these normally are not found outside of their immediate area.
