Pours pink small white head dissappears quick.

Aroma is tart cherries, vanilla, light cinnamon hints, lightly acidic.

Taste is loads of cherries, good oak boots, barnyard notes, tart lightly acidic, finish sweetens some from the vanilla hints of spice in the finish also.

Feel is light and crisp carbonation is medium not over done.

Overall a good tasty little beer.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery. It's billed as "an oak-aged ale refermented with Montmorency cherries", a phrase it pleases me just to *say*, let alone drink.

Appearance: bright salmon pink with a little bit of haze and a finger of white foam atop. Beauty, eh?

Smell: tart, oaky and fruity with tons of delicious cherry. Wonderful.

Taste: a little less pronouncedly oaky, but still tons of great cherry flavor. There's a mild underlying funk along with the light tartness that I also like. Really very good.

Mouthfeel: light body, befitting the style, and with tons of carbonation. Dig it!

Overall: this beer simply appeals to me on every level. Outstanding!
