Clear orange color with abundant foam in the spiky hand-blown glass. Very rich and roasted flavor. If you told me this was a Pumpkin Beer I'd believe it. Mildly sweet with a slight tangy finish. Rather sweet and more in the Märzen style. Tastes of cereal with orange and a spicy finish. There's a distinct astringency in the aftertaste. Overall this is quite interesting and seems like a new take on the Oktoberfest style. But maybe they just used a Saison yeast or else the bugs are loose in the brewery. From the 16 oz can purchased at Special Brews. Dated 09/09/25.
