Just had one yesterday. Bought it along with some other Aldersbacher beers that I also want to review.
Although it's stated as retired, it seems to be still available.

Served from a Weizen glass. Very large head that lasted quite a while. Nice lacing too.
Not much to say about the smell... Standard Pilsner aroma. Not bad but neither impressive in any way.
It tasted actually very good for a pilsner. I'm not very much into pale lagers but this one was pretty nice.

Overall I think this is a very fine example of a German Pilsner. Well carbonated, refreshing and a very "clean" taste. Definitely one of the best german lagers that I ever had, along with Augustiner Pils and Monchshof Lager.
