Poured into a weizen glass. Pours a hazy, light to medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of wheat malt, clove and light banana. Flavor is lightly grainy wheat malt, clove, mild terpene and banana; with a little harsh graininess in the finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. I entered the ABV for this hefeweizen directly from the website, but noticed that my can was marked 6%; I checked Untappd and they list 7% so I guess this is variable by batch. Aroma and initial taste are classic hefeweizen, but not as smooth as a German one, especially in the finish. Good wheat character, but need more balance.
