440ml can from Reilly's Off License, Lisnaskea (£3.49):
Very dark ruby to black, opaque & topped with a thick, foamy head that's medium tan & creamy looking with good lacing too. Dark malts & chocolate sweetness open the nose with caramel & sugars then a few caramel notes & lactose too. It's rich with the nose leading onto a bread & caramel malt taste that had plenty darker, roasted malt too. It's not quite as sweet as the nose, there's some coffee bitterness & earthy touches too though. It's medium to full bodied with a smooth, thick feel but carbonation is a little strong; it starts quite sweet before leveling out with only a tiny bit of alcohol showing at the end.
