I tried a pint of this beer off the tapper at The Local irish pub in downtown Minneapolis whilst there for a trade expo. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with sweet tropical citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Appearance: Arrives a cloudy goldenstraw with a one finger head that fades to a collar leaving splotchy lacing
Smell: Floral aromatics with kiwi, melon, strawberry fruit with a hint of lime
Taste: Floral flavors forward with a variety of fruit; kiwi, strawberry and honeydew melon flavors emerge; a touch of lime adds a citrus element but the finish leans toward the floral and fruit
Mouthfeel: Medium body with pillowy carbonation
Overall: A great NE IPA for a hot day

This one pours a murky golden haze with a core of orange copper. Bubbles line the inside of my pint glass that break free and sustain an irregular head.
The aroma is really muted, which promises a more subtle overall IPA experience. There's a celery and bell pepper green vegitabliness that breaks into a woody dryness. This is surrounded by a soft orange citrus.
This is so clean and easy. At 7.2%, this is just bonkers! There's an upfront attack of... I think I've been out of beer reviewing. It feels like the aggression of red grapefruit rind, but with none of the grapefruit. I'm not sure I have a word for this. My money's on this being a new hop variety. Hmmm... can says "Mosaic and Citra." Maybe I'm just an idiot. Or, maybe I'm just really impressed with this beer. This hop attack fades to a omnidirectional carbon dioxide sting and finishes with a canibus muskiness. Damn. Again, at 7.2%, this is just nuts. As I sit between tastes, the ol' pine forest creeps in my gums.
Feels dense and large, but it is sooooo clean, and the cleanness goes so well with this tickle of hop prickles in the flavor. This is pretty close to perfect for the size of the beer and the flavor.
This is now on my radar! I'll track this down. Thanks, Joel!

Great consistency - creamy and pillowy but not exaggeratedly so.
Great smell - reminded me of the masterpiece Hazy IPA's from VENN.
Look is mediocre. I'm not a fan of the way these pale and murky ones look... it's a dull paleness, like it looks old even tho you just poured it out of the can.
Taste is great in that it has that bright flowery "soapy" note that you expect from hazies with a pale murky look... but it just tastes like there's water where there should be other notes. Especially in the finish. It has a watery finish that's really unsatisfying. Like maybe there's something lacking in the malt, dare I say... it's not sweet enough? And I'm a guy that really doesn't like sweet hazy IPAs, but this might just be too far in the other direction. I've never thought an IPA wasn't sweet enough, normally I complain in the other direction that too many hazies are too sweet (Junkyard brewing taking the cake there). It's like all other great hazies have a backbone of sublte sweetness that just isn't here in this one. And I'm a guy who doesn't eat or drink any added sugar until the very end of the day, AFTER all beers have been consumed! So that's not it.... it's not like I ate 3 candybars before drinking this one and am like "hey, it's not sweet enough!" There's really somethin funny going on with this one. Try it and see what I mean. It's pretty great otherwise. Consistency is it's strongest feature, smooth and thicc. But yeah there's a wateriness to it that's just weird.

Looks like orange juice, slightly translucent but pretty solid. Minimal white ring head. Nose is orange candy, with just a hint of hop sharpness. Taste is juicy goodness, and feel is pretty clean. One to grab and have again.

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (25% clairty), light golden color with a very minimal head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of citrus zest, pink grapefruit, pomelo, and pineapple. (3.75)
Flavor: Moderate to strong juicy flavors of pink grapefruit, citrus, lemon citrus zest, pineapple, and pomelo with a citrusy finish. Some light citrus pith bitterness. (4.25)
Feel: Medium to lighter bodied. Strong carbonation. Some light pith of citrus astringency, but citrus sweetness lingers. Some nice carbonation to lean for a clean finish. (4.50)
Compared to Fair State Mister Falcon IPA 4/17/22: Pours an identical color, milder head. Lighter aromas. More citrus zest, grapefruit, pomelo. Less tangerine.
Overall: A very-citrus forward NEIPA. Nice pink grapefruit, bitter pineapple, pomelo, lemon zest, more citrus on the finish. Not flowery nor herbal, but just citrus zest mostly. Moderate citrus pith astringency. Didn't appreciate much of the danker Mosaic notes as this was mostly citrus here. Some nice carbonation to finish clean. Pretty enjoyable with the astringent citrus pith off the end. (Rating: 4.14+)

been hearing a lot about these guys but this is my first beer from them, first one i have even seen on tap, i dont remember them from my time in minnesota, they must be newish. this seems to be one of their more popular brews, and i have to say i was quite impressed with the overall quality. seems fresher than most out of state hazy ones, especially the ones coming west to idaho, and it seems distinctive for citra and mosaic, a well worn combination of hops for this style, but here they seem to tease a little more out of it, green melon, melon rind, coconut water, tangerine, and lemon verbena in addition to more familiar meyer lemon, white grapefruit, and canned pineapple character from these hops, and there is no fall off from nose to taste. its not the sexiest beer, doesnt hold much head, looks a tad dull and dense for drinkability, and even though it has enough carbonation it just doesnt feel super lively or bright, but the flavors pop and it has me intrigued enough to jump when i see another one from these guys come through. slightly oily in feel which i like, good linger even though its on the dry side, and a modern but clean ferment for the style. strong to very strong offering and first impression here!

Great can art with solid two-finger frothy head with great retention and lacing.
Aroma low-medium intensity with tropical fruit and mild citrus
Flavor ups the intensity a bit with cont’d strong presence of tropical fruit and some citrus in the finish and aftertaste. Bitterness low.
Good body and soft finish.
Verbal Tip is a very enjoyable hazy DIPA.
