Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow, with a patchy thin layer of foam. Aroma is grapefruit, lemon zest and pine. Taste is not as expected; taste doesn't quite equal the aroma. All layers seem muted and less bitey than expected for a hazy IPA. Muted citrus is about all I detect. While fine, there are plenty of other variants out there to whet the desire for a hazy.

From draft at a Minneapolis restaurant. Lovely to look at. Served in a pint glass, so tough to assess the nose. Delicious on the palate and a very smooth finish. Delicious.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, guava and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp, piney bite.

16oz can into a nonic pint glass.
L: Pours lightly hazed med-dark orange w a 1/2" rounded white head w VG retention to a semi-thick drifty skin, low carbo, random sticky & spotty lacing.
S: Pineapple, grapefruit zest, sweet malts, fruity, a soft hint of bread, gently earthy, clean & simple, light alcohol w warming.
T: Light orange juice, peach, pear, watery tang, light pineapple. Gently sweet then a little bit tangy. Lighter in taste overall. Light alcohol w warming.
F: Lightly juicy & med-light-bodied. Almost thin w a fairly fast finish and a light linger. Very pleasant, wet & smooth.
O: An EZ drinking & great feeling beer w an accessible taste profile without any extreme flavors that override. Quite light on its feet. It is very good in its style.

Canned 2/18/22 (19 weeks ago)

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to deep, but bright, orange color with a moderate white head. SRM of 8. (3.75)

Aroma: Mild to moderate aromas of citrus, pineapple, citrus rind, some faint plastic notes. (3.75)

Flavor: Mild flavors of orange citrus, pineapple, some astringent apple orchard fruit and citrus rind. The flavor doesn't linger and falls off the end. (3.50

Feel: Lighter-bodied. Moderate carbonation. A clean finish. (3.75)

Compared to Humble Forager Foggy Footpath 7/5/22: Pours a similar appearance, milder head. Milder aromas. Less flavor all around. Winner: Foggy Footpath.

Overall: This one was pretty devoid of hop flavor, although admittedly drinking this 4+ months out. Falls off hard or it wasn't great to begin with. Some faint citrus, pineapple, citrus rind and tart apple. The flavor falls off the end for a clean, but severely lacking finish. (Rating: 3.55)

Hazy gold, fluffy head - mostly standard fare tropical fruit and orange citrus, with interesting notes of vanilla poking through reminiscent of lactose or coconut even, lending a ghostly impression of orange cream or dreamsicle.

Thanks to Jeff for this one. 16oz. can into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter.

This one's paler than other offerings in the style but also a bit clearer. Nice head. Nose is pineapple, starfruit, and citrus. Pretty mellow overall thought it does tickle the nose. Beer opens pineapple, citrus, and juicy apple. I get cane sugar, more pineapple, and starfruit in the middle. More citrus on the end with a very clean finish. Very clean and simple flavor with an excellent clean finish. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down dry with little aftertaste. This is the best part of the beer.

Overall a very solid beer. Really drinkable for the feel on the palate.

A: The beer is rather hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pear and stone fruit are present in the nose along with notes of pine.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors are a little stronger and there are additional hints of pineapple and candy. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found some of the aromas/flavors in this New England IPA to be quite interesting and unique, especially those of the pear and pine.

Can. White head. Hazy pale golden orange. Lace.

Juicy and tropical. A bit light in flavor, but pretty solid. Orange, mango, lemon, and pineapple. Light to medium bodied. Nice and easy drinking.
