Thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml crowler into a Founders snifter.
Very hazy. Huge foamy head. Nose is pine, resin, dried tea leaves, and brown sugar. Not what I expected from a hazy IPA. Beer opens resin, dried tea leaves, amber, and pine. Aromatic. Brown sugar in the middle with more grass and bark in the middle. Slightly bitter finish. This is the hazy IPA that's not. I love it! Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and dry going down with a lingering, resiny finish. A touch too much bubbles.
This one's pretty enjoyable. A nice throwback combination of flavors.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color and has some hints of amber hues. It poured with a half finger high dense white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of coconut and cream are present in the nose along with notes of grapefruit citrus.
T: The taste has flavors of coconut, cream, grapefruit, lychee and stone fruit; notes of grapefruit linger into the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the taste of this IPA to be quite complex. It also did a very good job at masking nearly all of the alcohol from the taste.
