16 oz can mfgr stamp 8/7/25 into a Becker.
L: Pours a clear slightly rusty amber color with a thin off white slightly soapy head, steady lush carbo, head recedes to edge foam, a few small loose spots of lacing.
S: Pilsner malts, a bready note, grains, a mineral note.
T: Lightly sweet malts, very light hops, gentle fruit notes raisins, yeasty brown bread, toasted grains, a light mineral and earthy leaf note, the yeasty bread taste is large esp towards the finish, a hint of honey, distant tangerine.
F: Light carbonation then very smooth with a medium body and a medium-long lightly dry finish. It is mildly bright.
O: Malty, bready with light dry fruit tastes. Mild earthiness and malts cap it off. Expertly balanced with a gently bright feel making it easy to drink. It is very good in its style.

L-Light burnt orange color...decent clarity..not much head..

S-A bit unusual. A bit of spiciness and a rye bread like impression on the nose.

T-A good dose of caramel on the flavor....sugary...a touch of breadiness.

F-Low carbonation gives the sugary sweet malt a slight cloying impression.

O-There are a lot of average to below average marzens out there. This is one of them. The more I drink this the more it seems to be a cloying mess of a beer. Dropping scores even farther from the original 3.01

16oz can. Bottom date stamp is scrunched but appears to be 'BATCH2029 PACKED 08.06.24'.
Clear, deep amber colored body. One finger of off white head, but this turns into a moderate surface storm and ring. Leaves behind a few tiny lacing spots.
Aroma has some caramel malts, along with spice and flowers.
Taste is caramel and fresh baked bread. Spicy and floral hops. Quick end to the aftertaste, and this calls for another quaff.
Medium mouthfeel. Some mouth tingling. Good carbonation.
Good initial flavor burst, then a quick fade, and this leads to session work.

Can. Clear golden color. White head.

I like most of the falling knife offerings, but this was a pretty average Oktoberfest compared to others I’ve tried this year. Just doesn’t have the right combination of of malts and hops. Still is bready, biscuity, and has honey notes.

This brewery is known to me as brewing hazy IPAs and everything else being very mediocre. This beer bucks that trend. Pretty traditional with the malts. Not getting a lot of Noble hops. It is sweet with some unfermented sugars but I am not surprised by that from this brewery. Very good body and carbonation. Solid drinker and glad I gave this brewery another chance.
