Canned 11 Nov '26. Still plenty fresh for a lager. Pour is rich clean brown. Good head , fades fast. Nose is biscuits with herbal background. Taste is malty, medium dry with very light hop bItterness. Finish is rather brief. Overall, taste is good but lacks adequate body and depth of flavor. A bit of warming in the glass is welcome and things start to head in the right direction. Certainly worth your time, just keep expectations in the mid-range.

A - Pours out a dark black body, warm reddish-brown highlights, fully opaque. A nearly white head, but with cool gray notes, fading to a thin partial cap and a nice line around the rim, and minimal lacing.
S - An earthy hop note out front, and a cocoa tinged maltiness beneath.
T - Slight sweetness and the earthy notes of the nose mingle with dark bread and molasses, before a sharper bitter turn that closes this out. There is not a wide range of flavor, but what here is a lovely, on point ride.
M - Moderate weight, highly drinkable, with decent carbonation, and a super clean, refreshing finish.
O - Solid - a dark lager that illustrates just how easy a deep, dark brew can be to tilt back and drink. I'd get this one again.
