So, while this isn’t the place for top-drawer beer (we drank two flights and rated nothing 4 or above — but there were no drain pours!), the outside dog-friendly patio and the live folk-rock-country singer, and the excellent salads we ordered — this was EXACTLY what we were looking for while passing through St. Paul on a warm Saturday evening on our way home.

We’d come back again in a heartbeat!

Suburban location, black colored exterior. Interior has open black ceiling and concrete floor. Long bar with stools and various sized tables on the open floor, and a few booths. About sixteen taps, most are brewed on site, with a few guest taps. Brewpub has full bar service and full menu, including brick oven pizza. Has a few TVs and pull tabs. Outdoor patio. Busy local crowd, and hard working staff. Brewing equipment is on site but separate.

The place was jam-packed a 5:15 on a Thursday. Had to wait for a seat. Looked like a typical restaurant/brewpub. The beers were all above average. Some were quite good. The food was really tasty. There was live music. Which seemed odd so early on a Thursday.
