this is a really neat place, surprised there isnt a little more local buzz going on, but so much great beer in this town i guess its hard to stand out. i love the space, it must be an older building right downtown but it has been revamped in a very modern way, open feeling, artsy but low key, with a beer garden downstairs and a killer rooftop area. i opted for the roomy bar that has a good view to the brew house behind it, sunny and bright in here, great vibe. the beer menu was impressive both for the amount of beers and some of the innovation on it, and i enjoyed both i had in here, a simple but well executed kolsch and a more interesting wheat beer done with orange peel, coriander, and pink peppercorn. they also have awesome food here, i had a cajun fish poboy sandwich that was a banger. service was friendly but not super beery, no complaints there. overall a wonderful space in a cool location and a little nicer than the typical brewery menu, tasty beers too. i will carve out a little more time to hang out and drink here when i am back in town later this year, great first impression though, cool place!
