This is one of my favorite beers of this year. Would not be out of place alongside similar beers from Germany.
L-Moderately clear golden color.
S-Malty aroma.....description on website does not list the hop used but says it is just one and the beer is cold fermented for 28-20 days. The hop does not add much of a spiciness which you would suspect from Saaz and which I'm guessing they used.
T-The malt flavor to this is really special. It achieves that hard to find malt flavor that comes in many beers from Germany. More complex than a basic bready malt but that would be the first thing I think of. It's great. hops don't make much of an impression other than perhaps balancing the sweetness.
F-Medium to light medium bodied....clean and malty.
O-Putting out a beer like this speaks volumes to me about the brewing aptitude of Rapids Brewing. These are not easy to make and this is really good. As i'm reviewing it I'm left wanting a bit more of a spicy hop finish but overall this is great.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
