Pours a dark amber with soft, fine head.
Smell is fruity with notes of smoked ham, leather and a hint of sweetness and peppery rye.
Taste is fruity with soft smokiness. Notes of cured meat, leather, dried fruit, rye and a mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a well executed beer where the smoke doesn't take over.
