Pours a reddish brown with soapy head and nice lacing.
Smell is malty, sweet and a bit roasted. Notes of raisins, leather, tobacco and grapefruit.
Taste is malty, rich, sweet and a bit roasted. Notes of raisins, leather, dried fruit, rye and citrus. Quite intense with a moderate bitterness and no booziness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice doppelbock, powerful but not overpowering.
