Decent roasty, toasty notes on the nose and it looks like a light stout on the outside. If I was eyeballing this I'd consider passing due to assuming it was 'stout' enough. A great mix of chocolate and coffee notes came through despite my having tried about 15 different beers at this point. The fact that I could still pick up these notes after much tasting speaks to the profound flavor this beer must be when tasted on its own.
