Copenhagen 26/4 2024. 44 cl can from Beer Me web-shop. Hopalaa's usual style with the capital H with a night sky swathed in purple.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma îs medium intense with a sweet fruity odor with a tropical streak mingling with subtle citrus fruit. Mango, pineapple and peach. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet underton. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Smooth and tasty without being overly heavy.

L: Slightly hazy amber color, two finger white head, messy lacing, no visible carbonation.
S: Tropical notes, yeast, alcohol.
T: Tropical fruits, sweet, malty. Bitter on the back end. Tastes totally different than it smells. And that is good.
F: Medium bodied, lots of hop flavor.
O: Decent sweet-ish IPA.
