Copenhagen 19/10 2023. 44 cl can from Fish & Beer, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Dark can in Hopalaa's usual design with a blurry cityscape.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, friuity and slightly fermented odor mingling with citrus fruit. Overripe peach, a touch of mango and apricot. Grapefruit and lemon. Subdued.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a mellow sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Entirely pleasant APA.
