Copenhagen 14/7 2022. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Dark can with some cubistic rocks in glossy purple.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized dark beige head. Settles as 0,1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a dark sweet odor of roasted malts mingling with cocoa and alcohol. Dark roasted malts, toffee, caramel, vanilla. Dark alcohol. Leather.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet vanilla. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Potent and a bit boozy. But fulfilling and sweet.
