Copenhagen 15/4 2024. 44 cl can from Beer Me web-shop. Can in Hopalaa's usual design with what looks like Northern Lights as motif.
Very foamy upon opening. Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a huge white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with zesty citrus fruit. Ripe peach and mango. Blood orange. Grapefruit and lemon. Tart and acerbic.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Pleasant Quake.
