Copenhagen 19/5 2026. 33 cl can from Øltanken web-shop. Black can illuminated by pale yellow and luminescent shards. Promising me Barrel aging for 12 months.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Bubbly. Disappears after half a minute leaving what looks like Cola behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sugary, dark and malty odor mingling with dark alcohol. Dark roasted malts, caramel and brown sugar. Raisins soaked in sharp whisky. Alcohol and wood.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, fat, creamy and almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet and boozy streak. Searing. Finish is semi-dry and boozy.
Sharp and uncompromising as a whisky barrel should be.
