Copenhagen 15/5 2026. 33 cl can from Øltanken web-shop. Black can with smoldering orange, red and yellow shards. Promising me Barrel aging for 12 months.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sugary, dark and malty odor mingling with dark alcohol. Dark roasted malts, caramel and brown sugar. Raisins soaked in Bourbon. Alcohol and wood.
Light carbonation. Thick, old, soft, viscous, fat, creamy and gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy streak. A little searing. Finish is semi-dry and heavily boozy.
Appropriately boozy and potent brew.
