Copenhagen 16/5 2026. 33 cl from Øltanken web-shop. Dark can with metallic shards in orange, red and purple.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sugary, dark and malty odor mingling with a woody and boozy scent of alcohol. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar and a metallic edge. Sour grains and a hint of citrus. Liqueur and wood.
Low carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, fat, creamy and almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy streak. A little searing. Finish is semi-dry and heavily boozy.
Sweet liqueur with a boozy touch.
