A - Pitch black pour (almost coffee colored) with dense toffee colored lacing and sticky foam on the glass.

S - Roasted malt aroma with coffee and char on the nose.

T - Tons of roastiness and char on the palate with a little bit of vanilla lingering in the background after the sip. Char and coffee bean forward with lingering chocolate char bitterness and some residual citrus lurking.

M - Big body with slight thinness around the edges (not much, just a little).

O - Lots of nice char, a solid Porter right here.

From the 16oz can in a snifter. This solid imperial porter pours a rich
dark blackish brown with a nice head of brown foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some excellent lacing. Nose of
dark chocolate, faint vanilla, and light char with a touch of cream....all
very subtle. The flavors hit it out of the park. Dark cocoa, dark fruit notes
of black and blueberry, mild vanilla, char, roast, light herbal hops, and
touches of cream. Excellent mouthfeel; smooth, light carbonation,
creamy, moderately coating, and finishing with a bitter malt and
cocoa end.

Overall, this one is worth entering into a contest.

This brewery keeps impressing me, and even better they are shipping
down to Cincy now!

Cheers
