I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had cocoa, roast and peppermint highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with peppermint presence throughout....with chocolate chip flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

1 PT can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with over an inch of mocha head that leaves decent lacing.
The smell is mint and chocolate. I get a little coffee
The taste follows the smell. I get mint chocolate with hints of coffee.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This is a pretty good beer. If there was coffee in it I would fucking love it.

From the tall boy can in a snifter via Bluejacket74 who also took me
and the little lady to this brewery in their earlier opening days!
This solid little brew pours a dark blackish brown with dark tea
highlights and a nice head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin layer, and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of dark sweet
chocolate, mint, char, and lightly sweet malts with herbal touches.
Flavors hit the perfect note and balance for the hybrid style.
Char and dark bitter sweet chocolate mingle with mint
and faint cream, with light douses of dark coffee and
deep roast. Nice mouth feel; medium full mouthfeel,
lightly coating, smooth, medium light carbonation, and
a moderately bitter malt finish.
Overall, a nice little dessert brew that is nicely
balanced and well rounded.
Solid!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 1/31/2020. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around for a while. Good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, dark chocolate, peppermint, vanilla and some dark fruitiness. Taste is similar to the aroma, with burnt/charred malt, cocoa, peppermint, dark chocolate, vanilla and anise flavors. More minty and roasty than it was sweet. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and easy enough to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was an enjoyable stout, although I do wish I was able to try this one fresher (picked this up over the weekend). Definitely worth trying though, I liked it! $12.99 a 4-pack.
