No fair putting this in a category that includes many losers. This is a winner.
It pours deep brown with light foam. The aroma is fresh and malty. The taste is malty but not sweet. Hops bitter things down nicely. A good balance and good body.
Recommended. It is tough style to make great and they did!

16 ounce can, canned 2020/10/21 stamped on the label. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear reddish/copper color with about an inch or so light tan head that stuck around a while. There's a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like honey, cinnamon, caramel malt and some candied oranges. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some bready flavors noticeable too, along with a bitter finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a decent enough brew, worth trying if you get the chance. $11.99 a 4-pack.

This was beer #5 (Dec 5th) from the Advent pack I bought from the beer store just around the corner. It poured a clear dark amber with frothy off whit head the is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had cinnamon hints. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with caramel malt base and cinnamon spice highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
