From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid brew pours a dark blackish brown
with a nice head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thick clumping layer, and
shows some nice lacing. Nose of light maple, astringent booze, bourbon, oak,
light vanilla, and dark chocolate. Flavors follow the nose with aplomb. Dark
chocolate mingles with vanilla, maple, and cream that is drenched in bourbon.
Notes of raisin bread and light rum show with warmth as does some char and
brulee. Mouth feel is medium full leaning toward medium with light soft
carbonation, lightly coating, and finishing medium dry.
Overall, a solid brew from a great little brewery!
Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating on it but I picked it up at the brewery release last week on 1/2/21. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around a little while. Good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, vanilla, bourbon, maple, roasted malt and some dark chocolate. For the most part the taste is just like the aroma, but with the addition of some cream and dark bready flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit coating and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It's a bit boozy but not too much. Good amount of barrel character. I thought this was a good overall brew, although I did like it more on tap at the brewery last weekend. Definitely worth picking up some cans if you get the chance to!
